Dr. Surabhi Jain, PhD (IIT Madras), is a distinguished environmental expert and researcher with over 12 years of experience is the founder of Ecosustain Forums Pvt Ltd, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Dr. Jain’s academic excellence is evident in her receipt of the Paired Early Career Research Fellowship (PECFAR)-2022 from IGSTC, supporting her postdoctoral work on the remediation and utilization of industrial waste in collaboration with IIT Dhanbad and the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. Dr. Jain holds two patents for creating eco-friendly green building products from bio-modified bauxite industrial waste and cement mortar waste reflecting her commitment to sustainable innovation. Dr. Jain is a certified green building expert by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and CII certified Professional in Resource Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability, actively advocates for sustainable construction practices. In her role as the Joint Secretary of the Odisha Environmental Society, she is dedicated to reshaping environmental policies and education, with a particular focus on empowering young minds through capacity-building initiatives and environmental awareness programs. She has published numerous research articles, conference papers, and a book on waste management, environmental impact assessment, and green building materials.
